2018 Hair Trends to Rock This Spring

Spring is finally here, and we are ready! Ready for sun, ready for fun, and ready to get out of town. Are you going anywhere for spring break? Whether you’re heading to your favorite holiday destination or indulging in a much-needed stay-cation, you’ll want to look your spring break best. Below is a list of our favorite spring 2018 hair trends. And, you’ll be pleased to learn, this season is all about easy style.

1. Beachy Waves

Effortless waves with lots of volume…this is one of our favorite looks for this season, and one that’s perfect for a spring break vacay. Get the look with Maya’s long, lazy, cascading waves—leave the hair down for a breezy boho look, or pull it back into a messy top bun when the spring sun gets too warm. Either way, you’re sure to be the talk of the town.

2. Natural Texture

A little bit of messiness is in, in a big way. Kind of wavy, kind of kinky, kind of curly…the runway looks this season are all about that “just got out of bed, yanked my fingers through my hair, ran out the door” look. We suggest starting with a wig that has a bit of curl to it already—Bianca or Brittaney, perhaps—then teasing it into bedraggled bedhead waves with our Beauty Balm sculpting crème.

3. Bobs

We know, we know…this one makes it on the hot hair trends list just about every season. But it’s a classic for a reason! Add in the beachy waves and natural texture mentioned above, and you’ll positively soar to the top of the fashion charts. We think Coco could help get you there nicely….

4. Ponytails

Let’s get back to the basics! This easy-peasy hairstyle takes mere seconds to achieve and can be dressed up or down, depending on your accessories. Keep it simple with a no-damage elastic band, or add a scrunchy (yes…they’re back) for a bit of 90s flair. And for a surprise pop of pattern, add a couple more ties down the length of your tail. This would be a great ‘do to try out on Taryn or Veronica’s long, lovely locks.

Words of Wigdom
The secret to a perfectly natural look is a slightly imperfect part, says Designer and CEO, Alan Eaton. “Gently reposition strands along the part line or snip a few wispy pieces using manicure scissors—AND some restraint—for a slightly messy part that looks all your own.”

“Throughout my 20-year career, women’s comfort has always been at the top of my mind,” says Designer and CEO, Alan Eaton, whose Stretch Cap Technology hugs the perimeter while eliminating pressure points for maximum comfort.”

For first-time wig wearers, “The trick is to stay close to the color of your eyebrows,” notes Designer and CEO, Alan Eaton. If not, “then consider dyeing your eyebrows to match your chosen wig color.”

“Few people know that wigs can be styled just like natural hair—and that most hairstylists are happy to give your wig a custom cut,” says Designer and CEO, Alan Eaton. “Trimming bangs and shaping to your exact specifications can help make your wig indecipherable from your own natural hair.”

“The “Grey Hair, Don’t Care” trend—which saw women embracing their grey—is stronger than ever. And not just with the over-50 crowd. “Silver is chic, edgy and looks great on almost anyone,” says Designer and CEO, Alan Eaton, who offers nearly every EnvyHair™ and synthetic style in 3 multi-dimensional grey shades.”
