Holidays & Nights

With 10 NEW on-trend styles AND 12 NEW Rooted Shades introduced in 2022, ENVY continues to give wig-wearers more ways to express themselves (while never giving their secret away). And this December, we’re sharing inspired ways to show your creative side. Your glam side. And your caring, supportive side.

Party Hair How-Tos

From the advanced stylability of our heat-friendly EnvyHair™ blend to our super-versatile Lace Front styles—ENVY is all about making the look your own. And these simple hacks will have you counting up the looks as you count down to New Year’s.

There’s a reason the Side Part remains super-hot. And our Lace Front’s invisible hairline lets you make the most of it. A side part adds instant va-va-volume to LONG STYLES and a touch of elegance to UP-DOs (allowing loose pieces to frame your face). Moving a middle part to the side can instantly sex-up more severe BOB styles; while a DEEP SIDE PART PONYTAIL is a flirty, feminine alternative to the usual slicked-back one.

To give EnvyHair™ styles a Bouncy Blowout look, mist fibers before hanging wig upside down to blow dry. Always set your blow dryer to MEDIUM HEAT and use the COOL SHOT BUTTON to cool hair down. “The fiber’s shape memory locks in as it dries and cools” says Designer & CEO Alan Eaton, who advises women not to use a brush when blow drying (it can stretch out and damage fibers).

With teasing at the root for lift, ENVY’s natural-looking short styles are a nine-to-five go-to. For some Going-Out Edge, play up the choppiness of pixie styles (like FIONA or JO ANNE) and create extra piece-y sections (with AUBREY, our NEW AMY and more) by working a small amount of ENVY BEAUTY BALM SCULPTING CRÈME into wet or dry hair.

To give mid-length EnvyHair™ styles like ABBEY some flirty, Wintertime Waves, curl 1⁄2” vertical sections away from the part using a 1⁄2” curling iron (clipping each section, while leaving ends out). When 100% cooled, remove clips and lightly shake for an airy finish. (For longer styles like LYNSEY and CHELSEA, use a 11⁄4” curling iron with the curl beginning near the cheekbones on both sides.)

Bling In The New Year.

Making the look your own is what the latest crop of hair accessories is ALSO all about.

Stacked Barrettes were everywhere at this year’s Fashion Week (proving there’s no such thing as too many), with bows, pearls, butterflies, and luxury brand logos the top trends.

Claw Clips are super-hot, with butterfly, faux-pearl, crystal-studded and velvet-wrapped clips dressing up braids, low ponies, and messy buns. For an easy half-back style, simply drag your open clip from one side of your head and close it on the other.

The Scrunchie is also back—and it’s oversized! Go luxe this holiday with pearl and crystal appliqued scrunchies. Satin, velvet and ruffled scrunchies. (Even CASHMERE scrunchies!)

BOB Topper

Topper Time.

For an added boost of confidence at holiday party time (or anytime), try one of ENVY’s ready-to-wear synthetic TOPPERS. Designed to add volume and coverage where extensions can’t reach, they’re also a great way to try a new on-trend look—including the classic, jaw-skimming Bob Topper, slightly edgy Spiky Topper, and universally flattering Wedge Topper. And with a cap that mimics natural hair and your choice of 15 believable shades, your secret’s safe with us!

‘Tis The Reason.

Despite all the festive celebrations (or maybe because of them), one American Psychiatric Association poll reports a 41% increase in anxiety during the holidays. Hair loss doesn’t have to add to it. And the sense of connection you find in a support group or charitable organization can make a big difference.
Facebook’s TL Wig Support Group is a safe place for women (especially those new to wig wearing) to talk about their hair loss and find support and education. And there are numerous resources for those looking to donate a wig to someone going through cancer treatment (or who are themselves):

We’ve loved watching the wig community continue to grow this past year. And always love seeing wig-wearers’ confidence grow, too. If you’re liking the way you look in your ENVY wig, share your photo- or video-selfie using the hashtag # LiveEnvyHair to receive our NEW Wig Brush and Comb set (a $12 value) FREE. Words of Wigdom
The secret to a perfectly natural look is a slightly imperfect part, says Designer and CEO, Alan Eaton. “Gently reposition strands along the part line or snip a few wispy pieces using manicure scissors—AND some restraint—for a slightly messy part that looks all your own.”

Words of Wigdom™
“Throughout my 20-year career, women’s comfort has always been at the top of my mind,” says Designer and CEO, Alan Eaton, whose Stretch Cap Technology hugs the perimeter while eliminating pressure points for maximum comfort.”

Words of Wigdom™
For first-time wig wearers, “The trick is to stay close to the color of your eyebrows,” notes Designer and CEO, Alan Eaton. If not, “then consider dyeing your eyebrows to match your chosen wig color.”

Words of Wigdom™
“Few people know that wigs can be styled just like natural hair—and that most hairstylists are happy to give your wig a custom cut,” says Designer and CEO, Alan Eaton. “Trimming bangs and shaping to your exact specifications can help make your wig indecipherable from your own natural hair.”

Words of Wigdom™
“The “Grey Hair, Don’t Care” trend—which saw women embracing their grey—is stronger than ever. And not just with the over-50 crowd. “Silver is chic, edgy and looks great on almost anyone,” says Designer and CEO, Alan Eaton, who offers nearly every EnvyHair™ and synthetic style in 3 multi-dimensional grey shades.”
